Providing financial assistance to our future generation

The OpenCircle Scholarship provides financial assistance to the dependents of OpenCircle Member employees pursuing post-secondary education or apprenticeship technical training. The $1,500 scholarships can be awarded to post-secondary students currently enrolled in any year of their program, with a maximum of one application per student, per school year. The scholarships apply to any designated educational institution in Canada and are awarded based on a lottery system. There are a limited number of scholarships available. Individuals who have previously received an OpenCircle scholarship are not eligible to apply again.

  • Member employee must be in benefit at the time of application

An education that pays

OpenCircle’s Tuition Refund Program reimburses tuition fees for Hour Bank employees of Member companies who successfully complete their apprenticeship training and then return to work for an OpenCircle Member company (if applicable in your province). The refund can be issued to either individual Member employees or directly to the Member employer if the company paid for the employee’s tuition.

We believe it’s essential to support the education of the next generation.

  • The Tuition Refund Program reimburses tuition fees for field employees (Members of Hour Bank Benefit Plan) of OpenCircle Member companies
