Build your Business Management Muscles - OpenCircle

Build your Business Management Muscles

OpenCircle’s Leadership in Business Series kicks off this September. We’ve partnered with MNP to bring you seven online facilitator-led courses that focus on three pillars vital to your business – finance, strategy, and leadership. The courses are designed to give you the skills to help you confidently sustain and grow your business.

Here’s a sneak peek into our LEADERSHIP courses.

Business Planning

Does your business plan meet today’s economic realities?

Planning for your business is different from planning an event, a vacation, or most other activities in your day-to-day life. Whether you want to change your business, grow your business, or keep your business relatively the same, you will want to build your business management muscles to plan, measure, and execute to make sure you get there – wherever ‘there’ is.

What you’ll learn:

  • Learn the purpose and importance of having a business plan, and understand the essential components of a well-written plan
  • Learn how to build a comprehensive business plan that is clear, simple, and easy to follow

Date: September 28, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. MT

Transform your Employees from Good to Great!

Just like high performing sports teams, businesses need great coaches too. The best business coaches leverage their team’s skills, experience, and available tools to help their employees and their team ‘win’ at what they set out to do. The skills learned in this session can be applied to all aspects of the performance management and staff development processes. The focus of this workshop is on the performance conversations – not the process, tools, or forms.

What you’ll learn:

  • Understand how to facilitate continuous improvement and career development through ongoing performance (formal and informal) coaching conversations
  • Understand the principles of effective coaching and communication in performance discussions with team members, and confidently, providing ongoing feedback to team members and handling emotion in discussions

Date:  October 11, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. MT
