Operating as part of a strong, unified Canadian network committed to the free-enterprise philosophy, Merit NB protects and advances the interests of independent construction company owners and their workforces. We serve a wide array of building professionals, from small family-owned operations to large-scale contractors across the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Established in 1992, Merit NL has proudly served as the premier voice for the province's open-shop construction sector for 34 years. Operating as a non-profit organization born out of a collective desire to elevate the industry, we support more than 70 local member companies employing nearly 1,000 skilled tradespeople across Newfoundland and Labrador. We champion a diverse construction landscape encompassing commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
